How do I log in to MyPRSA?
To log in to your MyPRSA account, go to this link and fill out your login information.
What do I do if I forgot my MyPRSA login?
If you forgot your login, go to the MyPRSA login page and click on Retrieve It. From there, you will be prompted to enter your email address and an email will be sent to you to change your password. If this does not work or it says that there is no account connected to that email, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name and school name. Please check your spam email folder.
How do I log in to the Internship Center?
To log in to the Internship Center, go to this link and use your MyPRSA login information.
When I log in I receive a message that I do not have access. What is the problem?
If you log in and receive a message that you do not have access, please check with your Chapter president or Faculty Adviser that you have paid membership dues for that year. If you have paid dues and still receive this message, please call (212) 460-1474.
I am not getting any emails from PRSSA. What is wrong?

I am a new e-board member from my Chapter. How do I update this information online?
If you are a new e-board member, you need the current or previous Chapter president or the current Faculty Adviser to log in to the Chapter Admin site and add you as a member to the e-board.
How much does it cost to join PRSSA?
If your school has a PRSSA Chapter, you can join their Chapter. National dues are $55 per year. PRSSA does not prorate membership costs.
If my school does not have a Chapter, how can I join PRSSA?
If your school does not have a PRSSA Chapter but you still want to join PRSSA, you can become an Affiliate member and that will cost $65 per year. More information on becoming an Affiliate member is here.

If I am a graduate student, can I join PRSSA?
As long as you are a full-time or part-time student at your school and your school has a PRSSA Chapter, you are eligible to become a PRSSA member.
Where can I access my PRSSA membership card and certificate?
These documents are now available to all current PRSSA members via your MyPRSA profile. Log in to your MyPRSA account and click on Membership Card in the dropdown menu on the right-hand side of the screen. For more information, click here.
How do I pay dues?
You pay your membership dues by submitting your information and $55 to your Chapter president or Faculty Adviser (or Chapter treasurer if that applies to your Chapter). They will then submit your Chapter’s dues to PRSSA National.
I want to pay dues but I missed the deadline. What should I do?
If you have missed the deadline and still want to pay dues, call (212) 460-1474. Have a credit card ready to make a payment over the phone. Also contact your school’s Chapter president or Faculty Adviser to alert them that you will be doing this.
I forgot to add a member to my Chapter roster. What should I do?
If you forgot to add a member, please call (212) 460-1474 to add this student to the roster. Have a credit card ready to make a payment for this member over the phone.
I added an extra member to my Chapter roster. What should I do?
If you added an extra member to your Chapter roster, please email email@example.com with the member’s full name and email address so they can be removed from your roster.
How can I join PRSA once I graduate, and when do I need to do this?
You can join PRSA five months before or two years after you are set to graduate. Fill out the application online through your MyPRSA account or fill out this application and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once you sign in, click on your account and go to Membership Application on the right-hand side dropdown menu. You can make your payment online after filling out the online application or by sending a check to PRSSA National at 120 Wall Street, 21st Floor, New York, NY 10005.
How can I or my Chapter pay dues by credit card?
The dues process is now online. Your Faculty Adviser or Chapter president can access the Chapter Admin website and pay dues by credit card there. If you are the Chapter president or Faculty Adviser and you are having issues logging in to the Chapter Admin website, call (212) 460-1474. What is National Assembly?
The PRSSA National Assembly provides PRSSA Chapters with the opportunity to network with fellow members from across the country, attend leadership training sessions and help decide the future of the Society by electing the incoming National Committee. Check out last year’s program for more detailed information. PRSSA will cover the registration and hotel (room and tax) stay for your Chapter delegate in a shared room.
Who should attend the National Assembly?
Each PRSSA Chapter should send one official delegate to vote on bylaw changes and elect the next National Committee. All other Chapter members and Affiliates are invited to attend as non-delegates to join in the leadership training sessions, networking and fun.
What does PRSSA cover for National Assembly?
PRSSA covers the hotel cost for the delegate of the school. Delegates are responsible for travel expenses as well as food (unless there is a PRSSA catered event at National Assembly). All non-delegates are responsible for the registration fee, hotel and travel expenses as well as food (unless there is a PRSSA catered event at National Assembly).
What is Leadership Rally and who should attend?
The PRSSA Leadership Rally is designed for incoming Chapter President and/or incoming Firm Directors of a Nationally Affiliated Student-Run Firm. If your Chapter cannot send either of these members to attend, please consider sending someone from the incoming Executive Board to get up to speed on all of the resources and benefits available for your Chapter. This event also provides networking and sharing of best practices so you are best equipped to set and reach your Chapter goals along with having a host of Chapters to support you along the way.
What does PRSSA cover for the Leadership Rally?
There is no registration fee and PRSSA pays hotel room and tax (shared rooms) for all attendees at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort (5001 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale, Arizona 85250). The hotel provides a complimentary made-to-order breakfast each morning. PRSSA provides lunch daily.
What is National Conference and what does PRSSA cover?
The PRSSA National Conference is the largest gathering of public relations students in the country. National Conference will give college students the opportunity to network with peers and public relations experts. At Conference, you will learn about the many different branches of public relations as well as essential techniques for the industry. Be prepared to learn invaluable skills and explore a new city. PRSSA does not cover the cost to attend National Conference.
Does PRSSA have any kind of aid to cover the cost of the National Conference?
Yes. PRSSA offers a travel grant for students to attend National Conference. To learn more about the travel grant, click here.
Who should attend?
Students currently enrolled in college or university who are studying or interested in public relations and communications should attend. It is a great way to hear from professionals, learn new skills and strengthen your networking skills by interacting with other students and professionals from across the nation.
