Nicole Price, 2016–2017 vice president of Regional Conferences, is a fourth year student at the University of Cincinnati where she is pursuing a double degree in communication and electronic media, with a professional sales minor, a public relations certificate and a web development certificate.
She has been a member of PRSSA since her first year of college. She transitioned into the role of treasurer, held that position for two years, and subsequently became president. While president of her Chapter, she also served as the conference coordinator for the PR Grand Slam: Breaking into the Big Leagues Regional Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. She also attended the PRSSA 2014 and 2015 National Conferences, a 2015 Regional Conference named The Loop Chicago: DIVERGENT, served as delegate for the PRSSA 2015 and 2016 National Assembly, and attended the PRSSA 2015 Leadership Rally. Through her time with PRSSA she realized how much she learned from the Society and knew she needed to give back.
Aside from PRSSA, Price has also held positions as the marketing director for Bearcast Media, a senator at-large for the University of Cincinnati Student Government, production assistant for the University of Cincinnati Athletics Department of Gameday Operations, and most recently as an intern at The Owens Group. This year she received the Cincinnati PRSA Blacksmith Award as the 2015 PRSSA Student of the Year.
Price dreams of moving to the United Kingdom and experiencing the world to the fullest. Her interests include being outdoors, singing, watching “Silicon Valley,” following a new recipe, and experiencing new things.
