PRSA’s community of professionals work worldwide, in every practice area, from sports and entertainment to government and investor relations, in corporations, nonprofits and agencies. Joining this network is your first step to success.
As a PRSSA member, you are eligible to join PRSA as an Associate Member up to five months before or two years after you graduate. Associate Member dues are only $60 – a savings of nearly $200 – per year. Apply online through MyPRSA or download the membership application (PDF).
The benefits of PRSA Associate Membership are many, and include the following:
- PRSA Chapters — Where do you start your networking when you join a large Society? You start local. Whether you stay near to home after graduation or move to a new city, the nearest PRSA Chapter is your new community. Find support in your city or region from professionals who know the area, the media, and the business and employment opportunities. You may join a PRSA Chapter when you join PRSA National, or you can wait until you know where you will be settling down.
- New Professionals Section — The New Professional Section is a subgroup of PRSA for members who are new to the profession. Through newsletters, mentoring, podcasts, webinars and in-person events, we help you build critical knowledge and skills. Join when you become an Associate Member or anytime afterward.
- Other Professional Interest Sections — As a member of a PRSA Section, you have access to insider industry information that is critical in today’s competitive workforce. Sections offer programs and face-to-face networking events that keep you connected with those in your specialty.
- Member-only Benefits — Keep your access to PRSA member-only benefits, such as the PRSA Member Directory, free Silver and Bronze anvil case studies, leadership tools and professional development discounts.
