Experience and Recognition
PRSSA relies upon the outstanding service of student and professional leaders at all levels of the organization.
PRSSA is led by the National Committee, a group of students and professionals dedicated to assisting public relations students. These volunteers are a resource to help you, and we encourage all PRSSA members to get to know the current National Committee.
On the National Committee, students hold the national president, immediate past president, publications editor in chief and seven vice president offices. Members of PRSA serve as the National Professional, Faculty Advisers, and as the PRSA Board Liaison. The PRSSA Executive Director also serves on the National Committee.
The PRSSA 2016–2017 National Committee is seeking applicants for two new subcommittees: the Advocacy Subcommittee and the Industry News Subcommittee. For more information review the release and if you are interested complete the application.
Leadership positions in your Chapter are a excellent opportunity to gain leadership experience, prepare for national office and network with local PRSA leaders. Talk to your Advisers and current Chapter leadership to learn more about opportunities at your Chapter.
