Plan Ahead for National Conference

As you continue your leadership transition within your own Chapter, one of the important things to begin planning is the Chapter’s attendance at the PRSSA 2011 National Conference in Orlando. The Conference promises to be an exciting event full of opportunity to enhance your career. The deadline to register is Sept. 12, which is very early in the school year. Plan ahead and arrange your travel plans early.

Recruit Diverse Chapter Membership

As you elect new officers into your Chapter and begin plans for the fall semester, think about diversity. How can you Chapter recruit a diverse membership? Reach out to other majors and disciplines within your school. Form programming for all interests within different sectors of public relations. Reserve your spot today for the PRSSA 2011 National Conference. The Conference, which will be held Oct. 14–18 at the Renaissance Orlando Hotel at SeaWorld, will feature notable speakers and groundbreaking sessions that will inspire present and future young professionals to learn more about public relations. Space is limited, so register as soon as possible.  Registration is $295 for PRSSA members, $300 for affiliate members and $330 for non-members.
