The scholarship check will be payable to the winner’s university for use on his or her behalf, and can only be used to directly fund the winner’s educational pursuits.

If a particular scholarship calls for more details or a writing sample, you simply attach the requested information to the specific application.

Make sure all materials are error free and thoroughly proofread. All application materials must be posted to the electronic application portal by May 27, 2016. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Applications will be judged using the following criteria.
The recipient will be chosen by a committee from the Counselors Academy PRSA and announced at the PRSSA National Conference.
The Neumeier Family Leadership Award was established in 2011 by Kelly and Mike Neumeier, APR. Mike is a PRSA member, Counselors Academy executive committee member and past president of the Georgia Chapter of PRSA. He is a founding principal of the Arketi Group, a high-tech business-to-business public relations and digital marketing firm in Atlanta. Mike is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in public relations. Kelly is a marketing executive with Medical Management Professionals, is a constant supporter of PRSA and is a graduate of the University of Dayton.
