Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion
Adriênne Bolden is a graduate student at Florida International University (FIU) in the Global Strategic Communication Program. She is also completing a dual Graduate Certification in Conflict Resolution and Consensus Building. She graduated from Howard University with a bachelors degree in biology. Adriênne earned her Project Management Professional certification and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification at Florida Atlantic University. Adriênne is the CEO and Principal Consultant of Leverage Miami, a business management and development collective that will celebrate its second year in operation this July.
Adriênne joined PRSSA in fall 2018 as a graduate member. She has been involved in several events with PRSSA FIU and PRSA Miami. She attended PRSSA National Conference 2019, her first PRSSA national event, and her passion for the organization ignited. Adriênne and her team won the Day-of-Competition sponsored by Edelman at PRSSANC. Although Adriênne has worked in communications via customer relationship management, it was not until she began the global strategic communications masters program that she solidified her decision to dedicate her career to the communications field. Her passion is “meet people where they are, and provide strong leadership, inspiration, context and clarity to help them move forward” as best stated by A. Shaunise Washington – President & CEO The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation INC.
In her current role, Adriênne is a program coordinator for FIU Business MBA Programs with a focused responsibility on student experience, organization of special events and repositioning the department’s internal and external messaging.
Adriênne is a member of the Miami Dade Chamber of Commerce, South Florida’s Bloggers Union, Black Professionals Network and Region 3 Representative of Howard University Alumni Association.
In her spare time she loves to volunteer as a mentor to students as a Wilson Scholar Mentor at FIU, read thought provoking books, attending innovative conferences and traveling.
