Vice President of Member Services
Trevor Rayhons, 2018-2019 vice president of member services, is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) in Cedar Falls, Iowa. In August 2018, he received his Bachelor of Arts in public relations with a minor in business communication. Currently, Rayhons is a graduate student at DePaul University in Chicago studying public relations and advertising.
After transferring to UNI from Simpson College at the end of his first year, Rayhons discovered UNI PRSSA. Immediately after joining, he attended a Regional Conference in Green Bay, Wis. and served as his Chapter’s treasurer. The following year, Rayhons was elected vice president of programming where he coordinated professional development sessions, planned Chapter meetings and secured national speakers to visit UNI’s campus. After attending National Conference in Indianapolis, Rayhons ran and was elected as UNI PRSSA’S Chapter President for the 2017–2018 school year. Additionally, Rayhons was also selected to be a Regional Ambassador where he served as a liaison between the National Committee and Chapter Presidents in Iowa, Mo., Neb. and Kan.
As the vice president of member services, Rayhons seeks to enhance PRSSA’s multimedia materials, high school outreach program, improve membership retention, provide meaningful and useful recruitment tools and increase scholarship and award applications.
Rayhons currently serves as a Specialist in Corporate Communications at Horizon Pharma, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on researching, developing and commercializing innovative medicines that address unmet treatment needs for rare and rheumatic diseases. Prior to his position at Horizon Pharma, Rayhons served as an Account Coordinator at GCI Health where he worked on Pfizer Rare Disease, Sanofi Oncology, Bristol-Myers Squibb Immuno-Oncology and Chicago new business initiatives.
