PRSSA Day-of Competition
The PRSSA Day-of Competition is an annual tradition during the Leadership Assembly. During the competition, students will be assigned to a team and will have one hour to research and plan a brief presentation based on the project brief. Teams will then present to a panel of judges. Participants will gain hands-on case study experience and build their portfolio.
We are proud to announce that Allison+Partners has come on board to sponsor this year’s competition. Allison+Partners has supported PRSSA for many years providing one of its largest student scholarships, the Stephen D. Pisinski Memorial Scholarship, and hosting career and educational webinars in conjunction with the Broom Center at San Diego State University where two of the agency’s Co-Founders Scott Allison and Scott Pansky graduated. Participants of the Competition will be creating a campaign for Stand Up To Cancer.
Stand Up To Cancer® (SU2C) raises funds to accelerate the pace of research to get new therapies to patients quickly and save lives now. SU2C, a division of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, was established in 2008 by media and entertainment leaders who utilize these communities’ resources to engage the public in supporting a new, collaborative model of cancer research, to increase awareness about cancer prevention, and to highlight progress being made in the fight against the disease. As of August 2020, more than 1,950 scientists representing more than 210 institutions are involved in SU2C-funded research projects
Participants of the winning team will be recognized on the PRSSA website, as well as receive $50 Amazon gift card or complimentary PRSSA National dues, as a reward for their creativity, resourcefulness and skill.
Please note this competition is only open to Assembly attendees and you must pre-register (this is separate from Leadership Assembly registration). Space is limited to the first 55 to complete this pre-registration.
