Sankalp Sharma
Sankalp Sharma, PRSSA 2023-2024 National President, is a senior at Sacramento State University in Sacramento, California, where he is majoring in public relations.
Sharma has been in PRSSA since his first week of college and has been involved in several leadership roles for his Chapter. Sharma got involved with PRSSA National by serving as a District Ambassador and being a member of the PRoud Council. He then served a year as the National Vice President of Chapter Development and absolutely loved his time in that position, ultimately deciding he wanted to continue serving the community at a higher level. He is beyond excited about this new role and hopes to contribute to a brighter future for PR students.
Outside of school, Sharma tries to stay involved in his community and has written two books that raise awareness about social injustices and inequalities. He has been donating all the revenue to charities in order to help out in whatever way he can.
Outside of work and PRSSA, you can find Sharma relaxing in a coffee shop, being in nature, and catching up on his favorite sports.
